The MBRC advises that : Bee Gees Way In Redcliffe during the late 1950s, three young brothers gathered around a microphone and for the first time performed using a name now famous around the globe. Bee Gees Way temporary closure Bee Gees Way will close temporarily from Monday May 4, 2015 to enable construction to begin on a new shade shelter and other enhancements to the walkway. Barry Gibb to return home to Redcliffe The Moreton Bay Region's iconic Bee Gees Way is currently closed for the construction of Stage 2 ahead of Barry Gibb's return home later this year to re-open the popular public walkway that honours the world-famous super group.
