Adrien has indeed not been invited back to host since then — and given the notorious control freak tendencies of SNL creator Lorne Michaels, many have long assumed that his ill-advised improvising got him blacklisted from the show for good.

In a new interview with Vulture, Adrien Brody made rare remarks about his infamous Jamaican character from a 2003 episode of Saturday Night Live, an improvised bit which led to something of an urban legend that Brody had been “banned” from the venerable sketch show.
