Allu Arjun’s Pushpa 2 picked up pace during the fifth weekend and managed to crush Baby John at the box office

Pushpa 2, starring Allu Arjun and Rashmika Mandanna, directed by Sukumar, has become the biggest hit in Indian cinema, earning ₹1206 crore and surpassing Baahubali 2's record. However, its momentum is slowing down in its fifth week with ₹13 lakh on Day 33.

Allu Arjun was caught up in the Sandhya Theatre stampede case. The actor was booked over the death of a 35-year-old woman at the theatre during the premiere of Pushpa 2 on December 4. Allu Arjun was granted regular bail in the Sandhya Theatres stampede case on Friday, January 3, by the Nampally Court.

The earning of Allu Arjun's film stood at Rs 1206 crores nett in India on its 5th Sunday and Rs 1770.03 crores globally.

The latest report on Sacnilk.com has stated that Pushpa 2 minted ₹ 4.96 crore on day 32, which is its fifth Sunday at the box office. So far, the overall collections stand at ₹ 1203.96 crore, at 6 PM.

The Rule has earned Rs 800 crore in the dubbed Hindi language and Rs 330 crore in the original Telugu version.

The Rule continues its record-breaking streak since its release on December 5, with the Hindi dubbed version crossing the ₹800 crore mark in India.
