Las Vegas Raiders head coach Antonio Pierce revealed to the media that he hasn't "heard anything different" than he'll be back next season. Pierce, while wearing a vintage Starter jacket, also said the speculation about his job status is "coming from outside the building".

Pierce had made some changes on the offensive staff earlier in the season, with the most notable firings being offensive coordinator Luke Getsy and offensive line coach James Cregg. To replace them he made Passing Game Coordinator Scott Turner interim OC and Joe Philbin interim OL coach.

Pierce went on to speak of the future of the Raiders in such a way that suggested he would continue to be head coach. Making plans for the team’s future and speaking of his and GM Tom Telesco’s decisions this offseason. It’s no guarantee that he will remain head coach, but he sure sounds like he expects to keep his job.
