A, Oscar nominee joins the cast of a new Apple TV+ series based on a novel that is being produced by Reese Witherspoon and stars Anya Taylor-Joy.

Annette Bening is set to star alongside Anya Taylor-Joy in the upcoming Apple TV+ limited series “Lucky,” Variety has learned. It was announced that Taylor-Joy would star in the series back in December.

Annette Bening will star opposite Anya Taylor-Joy in the drama, which is based on Marissa Stapley’s best-selling novel of the same name. The series centers on Lucky (Taylor-Joy), a young woman who has left an earlier life of crime behind her but is drawn back in as she attempts to escape her past.
