Children's Hospital New Orleans is now Manning Family Children's in honor of the family's support. Archie Manning called it "our finest hour."

After 70 years, Children’s Hospital New Orleans has announced a “transformational partnership” with the Manning family that will usher in a new name: Manning Family Children’s.

Children’s Hospital New Orleans will be renamed Manning Family Children’s, marking the first time in its 70-year history it has taken on a patron’s name, officials announced Wednesday. The change comes with a “transformational gift” from the Manning family — Archie, Olivia, Cooper, Peyton, and Eli — though the exact amount remains confidential.

It has gone through many renovations and expansions. The latest will be “Walker’s Imaginarium.” Named after a patient, the child enrichment center will be a type of museum at the hospital. Ground was broken this month and is expected to open in May 2026.

Children’s Hospital will now be known as Manning Family Children’s. While hospital officials did not disclose how much money the Mannings donated, they did say that the family will partner with LCMC Health to help share the hospital’s story.
