Police in South Portland have arrested and charged a man accused of shooting and seriously injuring his stepbrother Tuesday night. Responding officers found the 30-year-old victim near 616 Westbrook St.

SOUTH PORTLAND (WGME) – A man was seriously injured, and another is in custody, as police investigate a shooting in South Portland. Officers responded to reports of a shooting at 616 Westbrook Street in the Redbank neighborhood around 4 p.m. Tuesday. When they arrived, they found a 30-year-old man who had been shot in the leg.

Police arrested Jonathan Hanson, 21, of Buxton on Sunday in connection with a December shooting incident near the Maine Mall in South Portland. Hanson was taken into custody around 11:30 p.m. on Jan.
