Aitana Bonmatí has scored in extra time to guide Spain to its first Women’s European Championship final with a 1-0 win over Germany.

Aitana Bonmatí beat Germany's Ann-Katrin Berger with an angled shot in the 113th minute at Stadion Letzigrund in Zurich, Switzerland, to break a longstanding scoreless tie and send Spain to its first-ever UEFA Women's Euro final.

Spain's Aitana Bonmati struck a superb extra-time winner to fire her side to a 1-0 victory over Germany on Wednesday and send them through to the Women's European Championship final for the first time.
