Former Arkansas standout Boogie Fland, widely considered the top guard in the transfer portal, chose to play for defending national champion Florida on Tuesday. Fland committed to coach Todd Golden following a two-day visit to Gainesville and posted his decision on Instagram.

The approach helped deliver UF a national title-winning perimeter trio featuring All-American Walter Clayton Jr., who arrived from Iona in 2023, Will Richard, who was Golden’s first transfer signing in 2022 from Belmont University, and Alijah Martin, who left FAU in 2024 for Gainesville after he’d helped the 2023 Owls reach the Final Four.
