Pepsi just announced the launch of Pepsi x Peeps, a limited-edition cola featuring the sweet Peeps marshmallow flavor that will come in yellow, pink and blue mini cans.

Now, most people probably know what Pepsi tastes like. And Peeps, the Easter candy consisting of chick- and bunny-shaped marshmallows covered in an unforgiving amount of sugar and food coloring.

Peeps and Pepsi made this soda two years ago as a trial run, and now it’s widely available for a limited time. Still, the soda enthusiast in me was curious.

But nothing major. It’s mostly a one-two punch of vanilla and cola. Overall, the Peeps aspect gives the soda more of a rounded buzz and less of a purely sweet pop than normal Pepsi.

But then the company had to go and collaborate with Pepsi. They actually did this a couple of years ago. Peeps Pepsi was an extremely limited-edition product, with only 3,000 bottles available.
