Blue Thunder is shod with 37/12.50R17LT BFG MT KM2s wrapped around 17”x9” KMC XD125 Enduro wheels. Grave’s replaced the factory Bronco hubs with Warn’s premium heavy-duty units.

That’s right, Blue Thunder the helicopter was often replaced by Rolling Thunder the van, driven by ex-NFL stars Dick Butkus and Bubba Smith. Also gone were stars Roy Scheider and Daniel Stern.

In the film "Blue Thunder," the titular chopper is said to be equipped with a dizzying array of next-generation military and police features, or at least next-generation for the 1980s.
