What is the Boston Celtics' toughest question to answer ahead of the NBA's 2025 trade deadline? Given the Celtics have run back the same roster more or less that won them the 2024 NBA title, one would think that there would not be all that much in need of answering.

This trade gives everyone what they want. The Lakers get rid of Hood-Schifino, the Piston get Springer, who a lot of NBA teams like and would want to trade for, and the Celtics get either a talented player who hasn’t bloomed yet, or at the minimum, a way to lower their huge payroll.

The Celtics should still be among the favorites to win it all. But will this potential weakness come to haunt them?
