Jeep Safari takes over Moab, Utah this week where thousands of Jeepers will gather and the company itself trots out some concept ideas.

It's time for the Easter Jeep Safari again, the 59th so far. That means it's also time for a bunch of new Jeep concept vehicles. This year, they're entirely based on the Wrangler and the Gladiator, and many of them have retro themes.

Avid Jeep off-roaders started gathering in Moab around springtime back in the early 1960s, and by the mid-’60s the Easter Jeep Safari officially became "a thing," becoming a weeklong festival by the 1980s.
