The state is mapping the bottom of the Hudson River. The work is part of the construction of the new Tappan Zee Bridge. It%27s supposed to help scientists understand how fish use the river.

Spackenkill resident Stan Garrant bought a boat to hit the Hudson River this summer. Before going out on the water, he wanted to make sure his used boat had all the necessary working parts.
