Le Monde, the Mediterranean restaurant that’s operated on West Street in Wichita since 1994, is closing at the end of business on Sunday.

“We were still interested in keeping Le Monde open,” she said. Ghassan Hajen, part owner of LeMonde and manager there since 1997, said he is sad the restaurant is closing.
