I must offer a retort to the cartoon published on May 3, and Froma Harrop’s dishonest column the same day smearing those who are protesting the genocide in Gaza, supported by the United States.

I am writing to express my disappointment about a cartoon that was recently printed in The Lima News on Wednesday.I’m appalled that something so blatantly racist was allowed to be printed.

In a recent letter ("Political cartoons present only 1 side," March 30), Charles Monagan expressed offense toward the newspaper's lack of diversity in presenting its political cartoons.

I found the April 24 political cartoon to be highly offensive. It showed a snake charmer labeled “College Profs” piping “Antisemitism” out of a snake basket.

I agree with the person that had a letter to the editor about the Crabgrass cartoon. What a bunch of garbage. You should bring back the former cartoon. Baby Blues is kind of ridiculous, too ...
