Lake Superior State University will set a snowman aflame on Monday, March 20, 2023, at the 52nd annual Snowman Burning. The event ushers in spring in the eastern Upper Peninsula.

The Snowman Burning, which is Lake Superior State University's farewell to winter celebration, begins at 6 p.m. Friday.
