Another ride for thrillseekers is the Flying Viking, the amusement park’s seventh roller coaster that climbs to 50 feet. Visit Adventureland’s website to check hours or purchase tickets.

It’s easy to see why this classic roller coaster has been Magic Kingdom favorite for more than 40 years. Like the Seven Dwarfs Mine Train, this coaster runs both indoors and outdoors.

The attraction’s building now houses Princess Fairytale Hall, which was part of the park’s Fantasyland expansion plan along with the Seven Dwarfs Mine Train roller coaster.

Magic Kingdom added 11 acres with its New Fantasyland project, completed with the opening of Seven Dwarfs Mine Train roller coaster in 2012. Details are thin about the expansion.

The roller coaster, first installed in 1996, will return in time for the amusement park's 50th anniversary in 2024.
