Report this post. After studying Mishna Berurah on and off for 22 years, I finally completed it in Eretz Yisrael. This sefer was written by the Chafetz Chaim, whose real name was Rav Meir Kagan.

The Mishna Berurah writes that if a person only has a limited amount of time to study Torah, he should learn practical halachos so that he’ll know how to live like a proper Jew.
