The Amber Ruffin Show and A Black Lady Sketch Show have both secured Emmy writing noms for the first time – noticeably helping to improve the diversity of the category.

On this morning’s episode of The View, the ladies discussed the “Black Jeopardy” sketch that aired during SNL’s 50th anniversary special on Sunday night (Feb. 16).

By putting these black actors in these Oscar nominated films, Rock didn't just give us a hilarious look at an alternate universe in which they would have gotten these roles and changed the game.
