The Philadelphia Flyers sent shockwaves through the hockey world with their recent trade of forwards Joel Farabee and Morgan Frost to the Calgary Flames in exchange for Andrei Kuzmenko, Jakob Pelletier,

The Flyers hoped both Joel Farabee and Morgan Frost would become major pieces to their future. After all, Farabee had 20 goals in his second career season in a shortened campaign. Frost posted back-to-back 40+ point seasons before this year. These are players who can produce at a high level.

The Flyers freed up a bit of cap space with the clear out of Farabee's contract, and they might be setting up for more.
