The White House released an artificial intelligence (AI) policy plan on Wednesday spelling out priorities for the U.S. to achieve "global dominance" in the sector.

The plan, released this morning by the White House, aims to boost AI by speeding up the sale of such technology overseas and promoting the speedy building of data centers.

The White House has leaned on AI’s needs to advance its fossil fuel agenda.

“It’s a global competition now to lead in artificial intelligence,” said White House AI Czar David Sacks on a conference call with reporters Wednesday morning.
