NHL insider Darren Dreger reported on Thursday that teams across the NHL "are calling, and they’re asking about Seth Jones’ availability" ahead of the March 7 trade deadline.

In 11 games since returning from an injury, Jones' play has looked terrible whether by analytics or by the eye test.

Since returning from injury in late December, Jones hasn't been at his best. And despite a few games of improved play, the slump has dragged on for too long.

Jones, 30, is in the third year of an eight-year, $76 million contract he signed in 2021. The deal includes a full no-move clause, meaning the defenseman would need to approve any potential trade.
