The hike comes after stamp prices were held flat in January, which was the first instance since 2022 that they weren’t raised on a twice-per-year cadence in January and June.

The sticker price of parcel packages and first-class stamps will rise if the U.S. Postal Service has its way, with delivery prices for packages weighing more than one pound increasing 9.3%.

Maybe this counts as good news in a time of painful price increases for necessities such as food, fuel and housing: The cost of a US postage stamp just increased by a mere 2 cents.
