Congressman Andre Carson has introduced the "Gun Safety Incentive Act" to incentivize safe gun ownership as a way to reduce the risk of accidents, suicides, and youth access to firearms.

It estimates the gun safe market stood at $3.88 billion in 2024 and projects that, by 2031, it will grow to $6.11 billion. There are a variety of factors fueling the demand.
