It’s all thanks to a mission started by the American Legion Post 88 -- providing free flag poles for veterans. We were there when they rolled up, installed, and raised the Red, White, and Blue.

A 30-foot by 60-foot American flag hanging at the peak of a 156-foot high pole is a new addition to the property at Meyer's Mentor RV at 145 R.W. Parkway in Madison Village.

On the main quad around 2 p.m., protesters tore down barricades and took down the American flag on a flag pole in the quad. A Palestinian flag was raised in its place.
