The Ouray Via Ferrata is fairly new, having opened in 2020 during the first pandemic summer. But it was so popular, it’s already expanded its footprint in the Uncompahgre River Gorge.

Mohonk’s via ferrata requires a guide and an overnight stay at the hotel. The tour costs $250 per person and reservations for the spring will open soon, according to a Mohonk spokesperson.
