Deputy Attorney General Todd Blanche met with Jeffrey Epstein accomplice Ghislaine Maxwell today as the Trump administration and Republican lawmakers deal with public backlash over the administration’s handling of the so-called Epstein files.

“Ms. Maxwell answered every single question. She never stopped, she never invoked a privilege, she never declined to answer. She answered all the questions truthfully, honestly and to the best of her ability,” attorney David Oscar Markus told reporters outside the federal courthouse in Tallahassee, where Maxwell met with Blanche.

As the uproar over the Epstein files continues, prosecutors say the late sex offender's longtime accomplice has a history of lying. Her defense lawyer says she will speak truthfully.
