KALAMAZOO, MI — Four individuals were arrested this week as Kalamazoo Public Safety officers executed two search warrants in relation to July 4 shootings. Officers responded late Friday, July 4, and early Saturday, July 5, to three different shootings in Kalamazoo, which left five injured and one dead.

The case caught media attention as the four-star football recruit had committed to the University of Georgia on June 27, just over a week before the shooting.
