Judges ruled on Thursday alone to extend blocks on Trump’s birthright citizenship ban, limit Elon Musk’s access to Treasury documents and pause the deadline for federal employee buyouts.

The listless vessel that has been the Democratic Party finally found its bearings this week, honing in on a strategy that is largely focused not on attacking President Donald Trump, but rather Elon Musk. It’s not clear that it will fix Democrats’ many problems, but there are increasing signs and reasons to believe it could be a potent strategy.

Since taking office for his second term, President Donald Trump has issued a number of orders which included establishing the Department of Government Efficiency, also known as DOGE. This program, led by Musk, has caused a stir by going through government programs to validate funding.
