After suffering his third official NFL concussion, Tua Tagovailoa has been issued a stern warning by the Miami Dolphins, raising concerns about his future with the team due to his recurring injuries.

After making back-to-back appearances in the NFL playoffs for the first time in more than two decades, the Miami Dolphins aren’t in this season’s Super Bowl tournament.

Miami Dolphins quarterback Tua Tagovailoa is doubtful for Week 18 due to a hip injury he suffered earlier this month. Tagovailoa was also doubtful last week for a game against the Cleveland Browns and was eventually listed as inactive.

According to The Athletic's playoff prediction model, the Dolphins have a 19% chance of making the playoffs heading into Week 18. This places them behind the Denver Broncos, who have a 74% chance, but ahead of the Cincinnati Bengals, whose chances stand at just 6%.

Tua Tagovailoa was limited in Wednesday’s practice as the Miami Dolphins quarterback deals with a right hip injury that sidelined him in Week 17.

The Miami Dolphins are clinging to their playoff lives as they head into Week 18. They'll need to defeat the New York Jets on the road to keep those slim chances of reaching the postseason going, and they'll likely have to do that without their starting quarterback.
