The Washington Capitals are fiddling with the lineup to try and help Alex Ovechkin break an all-time great scoring record.

For the only time this season, Alexander Ovechkin and the Washington Capitals traveled to Edmonton to play the Oilers. Edmonton was without Connor McDavid, as he served game one of his three-game suspension resulting from his cross-check on Vancouver Canucks forward Conor Garland.
