The President of the United States, Donald Trump, will sign an executive order today imposing sanctions on the International Criminal Court (ICC) for conducting investigations against the United States and its allies,

The order does not specify which officials have been hit by the US travel ban and financial sanctions but they will likely extend to Mr Khan, the British lawyer who acts as the court’s lead prosecutor. The White House declined to name the individuals who will be sanctioned.
