Wicked star Bowen Yang and star of the Untitled Rachel Sennott Project Rachel Sennott assembled bright and early—buzzing off “three Diet Cokes, a pack of cigarettes, and one Adderall”—in Los Angeles to unveil this year’s list of nominees.

Oscar nominations were announced on Jan. 23, and as expected, there was many pleasant surprises and devastating snubs.

The nominations for the 97th Academy Awards are here -- and stars who received noms, including many for the first time, are sharing their excitement, surprise, and gratitude over the prestigious recognition.

The nominees for best actor are: Adrien Brody, “The Brutalist”; Timothée Chalamet, “A Complete Unknown”; Colman Domingo, “Sing Sing”; Ralph Fiennes, “Conclave”; Sebastian Stan, “The Apprentice.”

The Netflix film picked up 13 Oscar nominations including best actress (Karla Sofía Gascón), best director (Jacques Audiard) and best supporting actress (Zoe Saldaña) on Thursday.

Wicked's' Ariana Grande and Cynthia Errivo were nominated by the Academy for roles in the first film installment of the Broadway musical.
