Another potential area of expansion is into apparel. When Adidas sold off CCM in mid-2017, it retained the CCM apparel brand business (though dropped the name) which was the then-supplier to the NHL.

The CCM apparel license was not included in the sale. Adidas, which owns the NHL uniform license, will replace its CCM and Reebok logos on the uniforms with its Adidas logo , sources said.
