The cat in the center of a Pulaski County animal torture case is now in the care of the Sheabel Veterinary Hospital as she undergoes several operations.

"I'm still unsure where it came from as it doesn't look like one of mine," the cat mom, Ellie Morton, told Newsweek.

"This isn't her first encounter with chewing on things she isn't supposed to," Clarrisse Bosman told Newsweek.
