More than three million lights enhance this Coachella Valley zoo, according to Living Desert, and offer visitors a chance to enjoy a tunnel of lights, synchronized displays, and more through Dec. 30.

The displays include a fire garden, “Arch of Light,” glowing tulips and dancing palms, but don’t worry — its popular walk-through winter cathedral of white lights is returning as well.

The idea for the largest lights display in Washington came in January 2022, when the Tulalip Tribes’ Board of Directors saw the Jamestown S’Klallam Tribe’s annual display on a retreat.
