A Pend Oreille County man drowned Monday after he fell into Davis Lake while fishing near the rocky water edge of the lake, according to the Pend Oreille County Sheriff’s Office.

The weather will give anglers a chance to stay on shore, organize their gear and perhaps spool some fresh fishing line.
