Police say the man who killed his girlfriend in a Bensalem hotel then fled to Trenton in a failed attempt to harm the victim's family.

A Trenton man is facing homicide charges after police say he shot and killed his girlfriend inside a Bensalem, Pennsylvania hotel room on Wednesday.

Law enforcement officials said the body that was found in a Bensalem hotel room on Wednesday belonged to a Trenton woman who, they claim, was shot and killed by her boyfriend, who then fled to New Jersey to attack her family members.
