Lisa McClain on Wednesday became the 4th highest-ranking member of Republican leadership in the U.S. House with her election as chairwoman of the House Republican Conference, which represents the entire GOP caucus in the chamber. She also becomes the highest-ranking woman in the GOP leadership.
