LISBON, Maine (WGME) -- “Hang Loose, Drink Moxie.” That’s the theme for the 41st Moxie Festival in Lisbon! The festival, which began in 1982, celebrates Moxie soda, the official soft drink of Maine.

Moxie's legacy is that of a soda with a unique flavor that's more than a bit divisive. It's both controversial and difficult to describe, but not impossible.

The event starts today in the afternoon and will run through the weekend.
