John Doherty has dedicated a lot of time to helping people in Munster and across Indiana. Last Saturday, he was awarded the first-ever Jim Morris Humanitarian Award.

At around 1:37 p.m. the school was placed on lockdown in response to a reported threat from one student to another, according to a letter sent to parents from Munster High School officials.
