Oxnard police arrested gang member Juan Palomarez for illegal gun possession after a vehicle code violation led to a search and the discovery of two loaded firearms.

Authorities said all four Oxnard residents are documented members of a criminal street gang. The shots were reported around 7 p.m. near Southwinds Park in the 300 block of West Clara Street.
