Wayne State University colleges and departments will need to come up with $10 million in cuts to balance the fiscal 2026 budget adopted by the university’s board late Thursday.

The protesters were arrested by university police but Wayne County Prosecutor Kym Worthy declined to charge them after seeing police body-cam video.
