The Edge of Fate expansion for Destiny 2 looks like it’s going to reinvent the game from the bottom up, revising, updating, or overhauling many of its core systems.

The Edge of Fate will release on all platforms for Destiny 2 on July 15, 2025. Then, in December, Bungie is planning to release the next expansion: Destiny 2: Renegades, on December 2, 2025.

Destiny 2 will begin a new form of loot grinding and seasonal bonuses with The Edge of Fate expansion arrives, and players don't love it.
