Parts of St. Bernard Parish were placed under a boil water advisory Wednesday evening due to a watermain break, officials said.

The Christian County Water District has issued a boil water advisory for north Christian. South Pleasant Valley Road between Cesar Chavez Street and South Lakeshore Boulevard was closed while crews work to resolve the issue. The home is also movable, as it is based on a double-axle trailer.

St. Bernard Parish officials have issued a precautionary boil water advisory for residents and businesses along Paris Road from First Assembly Church to the Parish line at Bayou Bienvenue Bridge after a water main break in the Bayou Bienvenue Marsh.

Elizabethton Water Resources issued a boil water notice on Wednesday. The utility company posted on social media that the boil water notice is a precautionary advisory after a water main break on Highway 19E near Pete Hampton Drive.

A boil water advisory has been issued for some Suffolk residents. The advisory, which followed a main water break Monday afternoon, is for residents in the Oakland area of the Chuckatuck Borough, according to a release. The advisory affects about 40 homes in the following areas:

City officials said the advisory for residents on and near Golfview Avenue is precautionary after a water main break caused temporary pressure loss in the area.
