Spinepeira erwini, a new rare species of orb-weaver spider, was discovered in Ecuador’s Tiputini Biodiversity Station using the canopy knockdown method.

Giant spiders come in two forms - the large yellow Orb Weaver Spiders and the even larger predators known as the Wolf Spider.
