Japan's transport ministry will revoke Hino Motors Ltd's certification for four engines following submission of inappropriate emissions data by the Toyota Motor Corp unit, the ministry said on Friday.

Isuzu and Hino would jointly develop 3-liter and 10-liter diesel engines that meet Japan's new emissions regulations, set to take effect in fiscal 2009, the paper said.
