An 8-month-old Florida boy has died after he was hit and killed by a car allegedly following an argument between a man and a woman, according to the Jacksonville Sheriff's Office.

A Florida man is behind bars and an 8-month-old baby is dead following an argument and crash over the weekend.

A driver took a baby out of his car during an argument and fatally ran over the 8-month-old, according to investigators in North Florida. It happened early Saturday, Jan. 25, and the Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office did not specify whether the killing was intentional.

Police are investigating after they say a baby was placed in the road by a driver, and then run over Saturday morning.
