After the children finish playing at Kids Corner park in South Haven, it's easy to cross the street and be at the Lake Michigan beach for more fun.

The result: Jordan’s Corner, the indoor play space designed to encourage multiple types of open-ended, inclusive play for children 6 years old and younger that she opened in Scottsdale in 2022.

It's playtime at the Geraldyn O. Foster Early Childhood Center in Bridgeton, N.J., and in one corner of a busy classroom, 4-year-olds Zee Logan and Emmy Hernandez want to play bookstore.
